“Stylistyka” is an international academic annual founded in 1992 by Prof. Stanisław Gajda, PhD. Since 2018, the editor-in-chief has been Marzena Makuchowska, PhD, a professor at the University of Opole. “Stylistyka” publishes articles devoted to research on the functional styles of ethnic languages. The journal is included in the 2021 Ministry of Science and Higher Education list (100 points).
The journal is published in print and online – on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform under an open-access model. “Stylistyka” is indexed in the following databases: DOAJ, CEJSH, CEEOL, Index Copernicus, ERIH PLUS. Published articles comply with ethical standards and good publishing practices and undergo double-blind peer review.

“Prace Germanistyczne / Germanistische Werkstatt” is an academic journal of German studies published since 1999 by the Institute of German Studies at the University of Opole, and since 2019 by the Department of German Language and the Department of German-Language Literature. Renowned Germanists from Poland and abroad have presented the results of their research in its pages. However, the circle of authors publishing in the journal consists primarily of young scholars. “German Studies / Germanistische Werkstatt” publishes academic papers, reviews and reports. Only publications in German are accepted for publication. The journal is published once a year by the University of Opole Press.
